Andrea Accomazzo is the Group Technology Officer of the Argotec Group, headquartered in San Mauro Torinese (Italy). Andrea is charged with the lead of the technology, engineering and service areas. His main task is to ensure the availability and evolution roadmap of resources, competencies, design methods and tools to implement the group strategy from a technical point of view.

Andrea is an engineer by training, having served for many years at the European Space Agency as Head of the Solar System and Exploration Missions Divisions, with various roles in mission control for iconic projects such as Rosetta, ExoMars, BepiColombo, JUICE, and Hera, among others. He began his professional career as an attitude control engineer at FiatAvio (now Avio), Colleferro (Italy).

Andrea holds a MS in Aeronautical Engineering degree from Politecnico di Milano (Italy) and was trained as a cadet pilot at the Italian Air Force Academy in Pozzuoli (Italy).

Andrea, a passionate skier and mountain biker, resides with his family in a small village in the Northern Italian Alps.
