Argotec is an Italian aerospace company specializing in the production of small satellite platforms (from 6U Cubesats up to 250kg-platforms) and innovative products to improve the comfort of space explorers. Thanks to its facilities and know-how, the company's activities follow the "all in-house" concept, which includes design, development, integration, qualification, and operational services. At Argotec, we’re not just building satellites; we’re shaping the future of space innovation.

To support our Company’s growth, we are looking for a Mechanical Assembly Integration and Testing (AIT) Engineer who will be part of our AIT Engineering Unit, supporting the assembly, integration and testing activities of small satellite platforms and subsystems. The role focuses on hands-on mechanical integration and verification activities, with the opportunity to be involved throughout the entire product lifecycle, from design support to launch campaign.

We foster a collaborative environment where every Argonaut can contribute with their ideas and expertise, create meaningful value together, and transform feedback and mistakes into opportunities for learning and innovation — growing both professionally and personally, as individuals and as a team.

  • Define, prepare, and execute mechanical integration sequences for satellite systems and subsystems, including structural assembly and thermal hardware installation (directly in Clean Room);
  • Supporting harness design and feasibility assessment;
  • Develop and maintain Mechanical Assembly and Integration Procedures (MAIP) and test plans for structural, thermal and environmental testing (Vibration, Shock, TVAC, etc.);
  • Writing integration and test procedures;
  • Execute and support Environmental Test campaigns;
  • Preparing and supporting launch campaigns;
  • Collaborate with Structural and Thermal Design Engineers to optimize integration and testing strategies and provide feedback;
  • Supporting the design and AIT Plan development for New Product Introduction (NPI).

  • Familiarity with 3D printing processes;
  • Hands-on experience with laboratory tools and equipment for manual integration and testing of space hardware.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, critical thinking and creativity to tackle technical challenges.
