ARGOTEC STRENGTHENS SPACE WEATHER EXPERTISE: U.S. FACILITY ADVANCES NASA’s MINICOR MISSION

Argotec’s Florida engineering team is managing onboard technologies for NASA’s Miniature CORonagraph (MiniCOR) mission. MiniCOR will observe Coronal Mass Ejections (CMEs) and solar wind at a higher cadence than conventional large-scale instruments, paving the way for miniaturized coronagraph constellations dedicated to space weather monitoring. Developed under the NASA Heliophysics Flight Opportunities for Research and Technology (H-FORT) program, the mission combines the expertise of the Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory (APL) and the U.S. Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) with the technological capability of Argotec’s 12U HAWK Lite platform.
