This posting is for the U.S. facility located on the Space Coast in Brevard County Florida.

DUTY & RESPONSIBILITY

As an Executive Assistant in the US office, you will report to the General Manager of Argotec Inc. and will be responsible for coordinating meetings, managing schedules, making appointments, arranging travel, overseeing team expense reports, organizing and managing technical and non-technical documents, writing up company processes and providing other general assistance to Argotec US staff as required.

Specific Duties Include:

  • Perform potentially confidential and complex administrative duties involving Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and JIRA including, typing letters, creating/updating spreadsheets, compiling presentations, developing an organized file structure and managing internal tasks
  • Exhibit a strong attention to detail, ability to adapt to daily schedules and routines, and a focus on efficiency without sacrificing quality
  • Provide project management and maintain momentum on high-priority projects, including but not limited to, staffing and resource planning, onboarding new department members, space planning, and strategy development for efficiencies among teams
  • Organize and set up department events

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2 or more years of professional experience, or 6 or more years of professional experience in an administrative role
  • Experience supporting a high-level executive in a fast-paced, start-up environment
  • 5 or more years of experience with Microsoft Office applications and project management software tools
  • Several years of professional experience and strong computer literacy
  • Ability to participate in developing project scope, managing project schedules, and following up with stakeholders appropriately
  • Superior organizational skills, including excellent written and verbal communication
  • Initiative in resolving problems and an independent worker, with enthusiasm and an energetic approach to work
  • Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and autonomously
  • Great problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication in English
  • US Citizenship or US Permanent Residency is a requirement for this position.

 ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • This position is based in Melbourne, FL and requires being onsite – remote work not considered
  • Must be willing to travel to other company sites, vendors, and customers as necessary
  • Must be able to work extended hours and weekends as needed
  • Ability to pass Air Force background checks for Cape Canaveral and Vandenberg
  • Capable of working independently and in a team environment
  • Impeccable attention to detail and a sense of urgency
